I thought it was time I went out and heard some new music and of course have a laugh with a few friends so I headed over to the Luminaire in Kilburn, haven't been there since I played there about 4 years ago. I really like the venue a lot, and I'm so pleased I did as it was a great night for the music. First on was VV BROWN http://www.vvbrown.com/ and I loved her! Really catchy 60's girl group stuff. Had myself a little boogie. Next was Esser, http://www.myspace.com/esserhq and he was great, more catchy little tunes and a seriously big hairdo, looked great on him though. He was really sweet to chat to afterwards. The whole night was being filmed for tv,part of the JD sets, I'll let you know when it airs.

I'm off over to a friends for dinner with 'the mums' tonight, I doubt there'll be a quiff in sight, but I know there'll be curry, wine and a massive helping of Comic Relief, sounds like a top night to me!
